Ingredients:
2 fish fillets (any white fish like tilapia, cod, or sole)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
Salt to taste
Vegetable oil for frying
Fresh coriander leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
Clean the fish fillets and pat them dry with a paper towel.
In a bowl, combine lemon juice, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well to form a thick paste.
Apply the spice paste evenly on both sides of the fish fillets. Make sure to coat them well. Let the fish marinate for about 15-20 minutes to absorb the flavors.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan or skillet over medium heat.
Once the oil is hot, carefully place the marinated fish fillets in the pan. Be cautious to avoid any splattering.
Fry the fish on one side for 4-5 minutes until it turns golden brown. Then, gently flip the fillets and cook for another 4-5 minutes on the other side.
Ensure the fish is cooked thoroughly and has a crispy texture on the outside. Adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of the fillets.
Once cooked, remove the fish from the pan and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves (optional) and serve hot.
